Anne Hampson

Anne Hampson was a much-loved and internationally bestselling romance writer. From 1969 to 1998 she wrote over 125 titles for Mills & Boon, Silhouette and Harlequin, including the Harlequin Presents line of titles. She was one of their most successful authors.

Born in England, Anne always dreamed of teaching and writing; however, poverty forced her to leave school at age 14 to sew blouses for Marks & Spencer’s. Many years later, she attended and graduated from Manchester University.

Her first novel, Eternal Summer, was published in 1969, changing her life forever. Anne went from living in a caravan to owning a small stately home and driving a Mercedes.

Now Anne’s books are being reissued by Wyndham Books, including the first ever ebook editions of her novels. Combining contemporary romance with timeless appeal, Anne’s work has delighted generations of fans around the world.
